NYCC SCHWAPP!!! How Fanboys See Jenna Jameson

The Women Who Kick Ass panel at NYCC saw two of the panelists drop out, one rather vocal about dropping out due to having to sit on the panel with a porn star. I took a quick video to try to capture how I thought drooling fanboys in attendance actually saw the whole thing, which is backed up by how many times I saw camera flashes going off in that crowd, I think. Poor Amanda Conner...such a great artist but probably didn't have the fans listening as intently to her as they should have been.

  1. That's funny. And I bet you're right.

    And Amanda deserves better.

  2. Yeah, Amanda deserves much better. Great artist with a big project coming up. Jenna just barely into the industry with an idea that she handed off to Virgin Comics. The least deserving person on the panel (including the moderators) got the most attention.

  5. You'd have to pay me to have sex with Jenna Jameson. Good money, too, because I want something to offset my medical bills.

Who were the two who did the right thing by not wanting to be up there with the whore?

  6. I'd prefer we not throw out terms meant to insult to such a degree, but Colleen Doran and Louise Simonson were the no-shows at the panel.

  7. I would say there wasn't much way around all the attention being on Jenna, but I'd be surprised if Amanda didn't sell a few people there to just see Jenna on "The Pro" (and "Power Girl," just from her sheer excitement about announcing it).

Anyway, thanks for posting the video :)

  8. I'd agree, Alex. From what Jimmy Palmiotti said over in the comments section of one of Heidi's blogs, I get the sense that Amanda definitely took the lemons and made lemonade. I still think she deserved better, but I'm glad she made the most of it.
