SCHWAPP!!! Special: Black Adam: The Dark Age Review

***do not adjust audio until review begins***
***the music is designed to play much lower than the review***

In this installment, we take a look at one of the best mini-series of the past year, BLACK ADAM: THE DARK AGE (from DC Comics).

SCHWAPP!!! Comics Week 21.1: Fantastic Four #554

Marvel launches the Millar/Hitch era on Fantastic Four with issue 554. Is it good? Sure. Is it great? Don't drink the Kool-Aid just yet. Do keep it handy, because signs point to it being worthwhile to drink it in a few months.

SCHWAPP Comics Vlog Week 20

Hey Kids, Vlogs!

This week's reviews are up. I might drop some nuggets during the week, but this is the only guaranteed vlogging for the moment.

Nightwing: The second issue of the new creative team, Peter Tomasi and Rags Morales. How good is it? Well, I'm constantly checking eBay for a bronzed Tomasi keyboard, if that's any hint.

Teen Titans Year One: The second issue of yet another updating of classic stories. What does this one add? Other than amazing Kerschl art, IMs, and text messaging, the answer is: not a lot.

Justice Society & Infinity Inc: Two books. Two families. One is a functional melting pot and the other is a dysfunctional mess. View the vlog and see which one comes out best, in my estimation.

Schwapp Comics Review Vlog: Week 19

I'm moving my blogging presence to my own blog these days, though I have nothing but love for Shotgun Reviews and Newsarama. You'll probably see me expand my reviews to coming out several times a week now...and more random thoughts about comics, in general. I'll be doing vlogs meant for SPOUTING OFF ABOUT CRAP, as well. Sometimes they'll seem to crossover (like an upcoming rant about the ineffectiveness of the WGA's manner of striking, which I only noticed due to a WGA comic book writer's own stance on striking).

Without further hesitation, here are the two vlogs from this past weekend...
