  2. For those that missed it before he removed it, "Kevin Huford Sux" said "the only good muslim is a dead one".

Why not leave such genius up there, sir? I wonder if you deleted the comment because:

    a) you misspelled my name in your Blogger account
    b) you didn't want to legitimize me in the eyes of others by my having a hater that created an account just to mess with me
    c) you were embarrassed by the universal hatred and bigotry of your "muslim" comment
    d) A B & C
    e) Putting the incompetent cherry on top of the sundae, you accidently clicked on the delete button

    :)

  3. I'll try and leave a bit more of a sensible comment (can't promise anything though!).

I liked this issue myself, the art was fantastic especially those triple double page splashes. The attention to detail is just insane, I loved Sentry using the Doom statue for a weapon. I'm a big Doom fan so the story was a win for me, they didn't really touch on the Skrulls story mind you.

Just a suggestion though Kevin if I may, when you were showing up the pages you held it really close and only a small portion was shown. Now seeing Morgan Le Fey's leg was nice and all but you couldn't really appreciate the full scope of the splashes at the distance you showed them to the screen.

As for Doom stories, yeah JMS' was forgettable much like his run on the book. But I liked Waid's use of him when he captured Franklin around #500 (it was old numbers before that one like v3#76 or something) and his use of him throughout in fact. But you might want to check out Books Of Doom by Ed Brubaker and Pablo Raimondi which was a 6 part mini that explored Doom's past and his rise to power in Latveria.

  4. I've been meaning to give THE BOOKS OF DOOM a shot, actually. I'll make that one of my next pickups.

I decided not to agonize over getting images to pick up well in the camera this week and it appeared to have back fired. :)

Honestly, I was aiming mostly to let people who have read the book know what images I was talking about rather than to give non-readers a glimpse of the artwork. I might have to work on getting a better editing program so I can just put pictures in over the audio track of the recording at points.

It's a growth process. Thanks for watching, though, Paul!
