Amazon is quite clearly the most notable online bookseller. According to PW Daily, they have notified publishers that they will no longer sell eBooks in the Adobe or Microsoft formats. Instead, they will only be selling ebooks in the formats they own (Kindle and mobipocket).
With talk of a new Kindle on the way and Amazon rivaling Apple in MP3 sales, could they wind up the leading retailer of the digital comic book evolution?
